The first book, Ladies of Letters, was published in 1991 by Futura, but sadly it never saw the light of day, owing to the bankruptcy and subsequent death of Robert Maxwell, the publisher.
Happily, it was republished, along with More Ladies of Letters by Granada Media in 2000, and in 2001 the two titles were published as an anthology under the title Ladies of Letters...and More.
2001 also saw series 3 and 4 published by Warner books, Ladies of Letters.com and Ladies of Letters Log On
A brand new edition of the original book was published in February 2009 by Carlton, to mark the launch of the television series.

Sadly, the earlier books as listed below are now out of print, but can still be found on used books sites and shops and Amazon resellers.
