Have pity on the suffering millions who can barely get a through a day without hearing your letters, not to mention the long lonely nights! Nothing can replace the audio versions and despite Anne Reid's splendid efforts as Vera, no one can replace Patricia Routledge. Please hear this earnest appeal to write more, and more and more!

Will there be a series 12 for Ladies of Letters in audio?! I miss Vera and Irene!!! Anne Reid is a good actress (really like her in Last Tango in Halifax), but she will never, ever replace Patricia Routledge as Vera. Bring back Patricia and Prunella as Vera and Irene...PLEASE!!!!

I really miss this show. I thought it was a piece of creative brilliance. Just two women who write to each other and the letters they exchange. My daughter used to look at me as if I was crazy and putting it on would clear the room of teenagers which just meant I got to enjoy it in blissful peace.

Please, please, please when will there be another TV series? There's just too much material left to work with that it would be sacrilege not to make another series, particularly given the fantastic response to the first two series, creating new fans the world over.
Waiting for news of a new series with baited breath!

BRING BACK PATRICIA ROUTLEDGE... I have only ever listened to the radio episodes so was very excited to hear that a new series had been produced. However I was extremely disappointed that Patricia Routledge hadn't returned for the new production...
I understand that she had other commitments at the time of recording - my advice to the production team is to schedule your team around her availability for the next series as it is certainly a huge loss. Having listened to series’ 1 - 10 on continuous loops for the last year while commuting sadly I haven’t been able to listen to a single episode of the new series now that it has lost my favourite character... so I repeat my plea... BRING BACK PATRICIA ROUTLEDGE

Yes, please put the books on Kindle! I’ve devoured all the books I’ve been able to get my hands on here in the States, but I’m missing several of the later volumes—must find out what happens to Vera & Irene!!!
