The Ladies would be nothing without you fans having your say. Over the years, so many of you have written in to the BBC demanding another series, which accounts for the Ladies longevity, and for which we cannot thank you enough.

Read what others have said, or have your say here.

I have to say that for the real Ladies of Letters it has to be the Radio version.
I like Ried and Lipman, but this is so much more suited to radio than TV, Scales and Routlidge, are and will always be for me the real Ladies of Letters

HI, found the radio show by chance and have listened to all of the series - love 'em Have also introduced all my mp3 audio bookphile friends to Irene & Vera. Loved the TV series too. Always waiting for more!

Trish - Ladies of Letters Region 4 will be out in Australia on 9 June 2010. You should be able to pre-order from online DVD shops.

I am just trying to find out if the 'Ladies of Letters Biscuit Tin' will be re-released. It seems to be unavailable for purchase and I would love to have this set. If someone could let me know where I could get this set I would really appreciate it.

Wonderful series both are brilliant actresses, looking forward to a new series. Their facial expressions are priceless, I love the sarcasm between the two, Maurenn Lipman's blind wine tasting and Anne's gin with a dash!
fantastic. Entertainment as it should be. Well Done to you both. Huge fan.

I love the writing of Ladies -and have the CDs BUT ITV 3 started to do this well but then only complete part of the book!! If you're going to do a job then do it.!!
I think because the "older ladies" have such bizar experiences this is possibly lost on producers etc, Perhaps if they dared to listen they would know that many of us older people are not afraid to challenge ideas and will be extreme.. I am not of pensionable age and my favourite ever is the recipes especially the triffle. That is a classic I suggest to my family each year. And GAga holidays... brilliant

Superb, brilliant, witty, caustic, hilarious and oh so human. Had never heard of it (where had I been?) until I stumbled across an episode in the first series and became an instant follower. So much so that I MUST HAVE DVDs, CDs and books without further ado. Please, please don't let it stop!

Oh Dear! I have to wait till Autumn for the 2nd half of the series? Couldnt they cut something else and then we could have ALL the episodes and re-run them ALL in the Autumn. Perfect Tv ! As you have probably guessed, I love the show. Its brilliant, as are the Ladies themselves. And Maureen, I have got all your books and read and re-read them. They are hilarious! Just the thing for a snuggle up in bed. Well, at my age nothing else is going to happen in bed! !
Well Done Ladies..Brilliant show.
