The Ladies would be nothing without you fans having your say. Over the years, so many of you have written in to the BBC demanding another series, which accounts for the Ladies longevity, and for which we cannot thank you enough.

Read what others have said, or have your say here.

Good to see the girls back on the telly - series 2 is definitely an improvement on the first. (It'll be even better to have the radio series later in the year however!)

Trish - if you can't find a Region 4 DVD then buy a Region 2 one.

Both TV systems are identical (called "PAL") and discs from either Region will play on each other's players / recorders.

I have been trying to get the DVD of this series, however I need to find a region 4 dvd (Australia).
Does anyone know if this is available in region 4?

Have been hooked to Ladies since they first came on radio, Wasn't sure about the TV series at first, but it has grown on me. The first series was repeated on ITV 1. Will this be done with the second? My poor old ninety year old mum (also a great fan) can't get ITV3 since they messed around with retuning the Free view channels. Can you help? Maureen and Anne keep up the good work.

You say to let you know if we like this show - - - I love it! There is so little "laugh-out-loud" comedy on now, and Ladies of Letters always provides a few opportunities to really let go. Anne Reid and Maureen Lipman are priceless.

How lucky we are in Australia to have "Ladies" TV series 1 screening for the first time. I am enthralled and fascinated already after only two episodes. I love the sets and have fallen in love with an upholstered arm chair in Vera's lounge room. Can anyone give me more information?

I discovered Ladies of Letters while reading up on Patricia Routledge a few months ago, and I have been hooked ever since. I have downloaded all radio series onto my iPod, and have really enjoyed the comic twists and turns of the Ladies lives. Also, Patricia Routledge and Prunella Scales have such lovely voices, I now find I cannot get to sleep at night without listening to them! Cannot wait for the next series (only another 9 months!). And really enjoying the ITV3 repeats of the first television series- Anne Reid is a revelation! Keep 'em coming!

Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU ! for "Ladies of Letters" ! I think it is just brilliant and so English ! I've caught in the past some of the Radio 4 episodes and saw most of the series on ITV 3, but I've just finished watching series 1 on DVD and can't wait for the next series !

Glad you're enjoying the show in Philadelphia, Margie. You should be able to find all our titles on www.amazon.com in the US.
best wishes
Irene and Vera
