The Ladies would be nothing without you fans having your say. Over the years, so many of you have written in to the BBC demanding another series, which accounts for the Ladies longevity, and for which we cannot thank you enough.

Read what others have said, or have your say here.

Oh please, please make my day and put the TV series on DVD.!! Make my day even better and produce a series of the ladies in Europe....l can already imagine them with Spanish waitors and a Morroccan mystery and who knows what next. ......This series should not have been hidden within ITV3...it should have been shown on ITV1...and repeated twice a day on 3...it is brilliant!!!

As a avid fan of Ladies of Letters on audio CD's - I was apprehensive about the TV version. Althoiugh Maureen Lipman and Anne Reid are good - they are NOT the "Ladies of Letters" as portrayed by Patricia Routledge and Prunella Scales. Why on earth weren't they cast for the parts as they have made them their own? I miss all the little nuances put in by Patricia and Prunella - which allowed our imaginations to run amok. The visual element detracts from the spoken word and stops our images of how they look and interact. I look forward to audio CD 10 in May!!

well done everyone involved with this fantastic series. i watch little television because i am not interested in reality, cooking, home improvement, crime, supernatural or current affairs. I want to be entertained. I want to laugh at the end of a long day. Ladies of Letters is an oasis in the midst of an entertainment desert!! and I want to stay in this oasis forever.
