The Ladies would be nothing without you fans having your say. Over the years, so many of you have written in to the BBC demanding another series, which accounts for the Ladies longevity, and for which we cannot thank you enough.

Will there be anymore series shown on ITV 1 or ITV 3?

I would be delighted if the 'Ladies of Letters' books and/or radio scripts were available for download to Kindle, as I'm sure many other people would be, including 'youngsters' as the humour is timeless. Here's hoping.......

I have thoroughly enjoyed the BBC series and would like to be able to download to my Kindle the original works or radio scripts.

Can you tell us if/when a new radio series will be made? Will Patricia ever return as Vera?

I have listened to the radio episodes, read some of the books and watched the TV episodes and have to say I would love to know when more is going to air. Routledge and Scales give the characters of Irene and Vera a totally different slant to the one given the same characters by Reid and Lipman. I am able to separate the two quite well and sometimes view them as being totally different interpretations of the same stories, therefore enjoying them both equally.
I loved the most recent 'Crackers' on Radio 4 and always try and catch the repeats on 4Extra whenever they are on...just wish they would repeat more often.
Look forward to hearing/watching/reading more.

its a shame that you not use Patricia Routledge and Prunella Scales i felt people who had only seen the tv version missed out Patricia Routledge made the raido show worth listning to with her voice acting and i am sorry but Maureen Lipman (who is an excelent actress ) and Anne Reid just dont do the show justic and even the latest raido season was disapointingly lacking Patricia
can we go back to being just pen friends again please

Having the books on Kindle would be fantastic...or even having the shows available on iTunes.
